Subject: Notice of Ballot to change name to WebWhispers, Inc.
Date: June 26, 2007 3:51:03 PM CDT
For many years, the name of our organization and support group has been known simply as WebWhispers. From the time we were incorporated in 1998, the official name and the one used on documentation has been WebWhispers Nu-Voice Club, Incorporated.
The Board of Directors has approved and recommended that the new official name follow our well known name and that the WebWhispers Nu-Voice Club, Incorporated, become WebWhispers, Incorporated. Our sustaining membership needs to vote on that.
Sustaining members (formerly known as voting members) are the members who have made contributions to sustain our website, lists, and expenses that allow this organization to exist. These are the only people who may vote. A list of the 168 Sustaining members may be found at:
http://webwhispers.org/donations/thanks-to-supporters.asp
Because of the switch from old to new website, we have included, in 2007, all donations since August 2006. We tried in the transfer of the website and the new method of recording to find a method that would improve accuracy and yet, there could be some that slipped through the cracks. If your name is not on the list and you need to remind us of a donation, please just inform me and I will check my records and send on appropriately. Our treasurer will check the books while Sunny will check the database for an error in transcribing online. We have all of the information. We just want to be sure it has all been entered properly. (Dinner seats do not count as a donation unless you included an extra amount above the cost of the dinner).
If any new sustaining members join us during this week, we will be updating with the recent data and any donations of $5, or more, received up until and through July 3th, 2007, 5PM Eastern will be able to vote. The voting will then be closed. You will have a full week to vote.
If you have not made donations and wish to, please check here for online donations using Visa or Mastercard:

or
All snail mail donations should be sent directly to Treasurer Terry Duga.

POLICY STATEMENT - Managing WW ELECTIONS
Approved September, 2008
WW General Election Rules and Schedule

POLICY STATEMENT - CONFLICT OF INTEREST WW EC/BOD
February, 2006
Conflict of Interest WW EC/BOD
This policy statement is in the interest of avoiding any conflicts of interest or bias, or even the appearance of the same, in the decisions made by the WebWhispers EC/BOD while in the process of serving as responsible officers for our membership. Simultaneously serving two separate organizations may create compromised loyalties and the WW management must strive to maintain total openness in discussions and decisions among themselves.
Therefore, effective immediately, the WebWhispers Club shall not have any of the WebWhispers EC/BOD serving simultaneously on the IAL EC/BOD. We feel this is for the good of WebWhispers and will avoid any real or perceived crises of trust and confidence when matters are to be decided that reflect on changes in either organization. This would hold special significance when these interests are at odds or in opposition.
